Energy is pervasive, intertwined with almost every facet of our lives.
When we speak about energy transition the assumption is that Society can adjust to a new future incrementally, in a step-wise fashion. Believing it is possible to tweak how energy is generated and consumed, making investments in new infrastructure that will “fix” the problem. The perspective here is that the possibility of Energy Transition as currently being envisioned is fatally flawed, irrationally exuberant and insufficiently ambitious.
Achieving climate neutrality and New Zero economies needs a fundamental rethink. Transformative Energy is based on the premise that countries, communities, and companies, as well as broader civil society, need to embrace three vectors of change.
Transformative Energy is intersectional, socially-inclusive,
