For the past three decades, Lumos Energy has been at the center of powering a just
clean energy transition across Canada. Led by Chris Henderson acting as Principal
Clean Energy Advisor, Lumos forged project partnerships and catalyzed 37 mid-large renewable energy projects including hydro, wind, solar and biomass in every region of the country representing $C 3 billion in infrastructure investment.

Most of these projects serve and are owned by Indigenous peoples – First Nations,
Inuit, and Métis communities from the Atlantic to the Arctic to the Pacific Oceans.
Lumos acted as trusted advisor to Chiefs and Councils, Landholding Corporations,
Indigenous Development Companies and Nation-building entities.

Lumos continues to provide strategic advice in the spheres of public policy, project
financing, regulatory provisions, and electricity planning and procurement to
governments, utilities, energy authorities, and financial institutions.

Beginning in 2025, Lumos shifted its focus to energy futures dialogue, strategic insights, and authorship through the Transformative Energy Platform. As Curator, Chris Henderson will profile creative ideas and innovations essential for a socially-equitable, economically-competitive, and ecologically-grounded clean energy future.
